Glenn Sheculski was born in Timmins and has lived there for the majority of his life. Glenn is married to Maria, and together they have a home in Timmins and a cottage at Little Star Lake. Glenn is the proud father of three adult sons.

Glenn holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Education degree from Nipissing University. Glenn spent 33 years as a Catholic educator in two different provinces and three Catholic boards. Upon his retirement, Glenn ran for trustee in the 2018 election. He feels very fortunate to be elected to the Board at that time and served as Chair of the Board for two years in the first 4 years as a trustee. In the 2022 election, he was once again fortunate to be elected to a second term with the Board.

Glenn is passionate about his responsibilities as a Catholic trustee and remains committed to protecting the ideals of Catholic schools and student-focused education. His experiences at all levels of our Catholic education system makes him acutely aware of the challenges facing small northern Catholic boards.

Apart from his work as a trustee, he is actively involved in Scared Heart Parish in Timmins as a reader, usher and Treasurer of the Council of Catholic Men. He also serves as Chair of the Star Lake Cottagers Association and is a member of both the Timmins Concert Singers and the Timmins Symphony Chorus. Glenn also has memberships with the Porcupine Dante Club and the Moneta Recreation Club. He enjoys singing, spending time at the lake, renovating and curling. Glenn looks forward to working with his trustee colleagues and our Senior Administration over the next four years in providing our students with the very best Catholic education, one that develops them spiritually and academically and focuses on their well-being.
